Self-love only occurs when you love your shadows as much as the light. Self-love can never be obtained in the future, only in the now.
You cannot delay your worthiness to love & accept yourself for some point in the future because you think only ‘then’ you`ll be worthy enough to deserve it.
Judging yourself & others is a reflection of self-love. What you disown in yourself you project onto others. What you disown in others you project upon yourself. Love & compassion is the antidote that brings us back to centre.
No matter who you are, where you`ve been, what`s happened to you or what you`ve done in the past, you are worthy of self-love NOW.
When you learn love the things you deem ‘bad’ such as your habits, you can make peace with the traits you`d like to change instead of feeling guilt or shame because of them.
Love antidotes guilt or shame & that`s when true healing can occur. No one is perfect, get over it. Love & accept ALL of yourself NOW.
